Small Residential Pours

A practical delivery option for patios, walkways, shed slabs, hot tub pads, steps, footings and smaller driveway repairs.

Restricted Site Access

The compact single-axle truck may be better suited to narrow driveways, residential streets and smaller construction sites than a standard concrete truck.

More Accurate Quantities

Order ready-mix for the size of your project instead of relying on excessive bag mixing or arranging a larger delivery than the work requires.

Contractor and Renovation Work

Suitable for repair work, additions, infill projects, equipment pads and scheduled pours where fresh ready-mix and dependable delivery are important.

Common Small Load Projects

What Customers Use Our Mini Truck For

If your project needs 1–4 yards of ready-mix, our single axle truck is your best option in BC.

Hot Tub Pads

Typically 1.5 – 2.5 yards. Backyard hot tub pads are a perfect fit — we can reach over fences and through narrow gates where standard trucks can't go.

Shed & Garage Foundations

Typically 1 – 3 yards. Small outbuilding slabs and detached garage foundations. Order precisely what your forms require — no leftover concrete.

Patios & Outdoor Slabs

Typically 2 – 4 yards Weekend DIY patio pours are our most common delivery. We'll deliver when you're ready and wait while you place and finish.

Walkways & Sidewalks

Typically 1 – 2 yards Residential walkways, front path replacements, side-yard paving. Our chute reaches 12.5 feet from the back of the truck.

Retaining Walls & Footings

Typically 1 – 3 yards Small retaining wall footings and fence post base pours. Available in a range of PSI mixes to match your structural needs.

Driveway Repairs

Typically 1 – 4 yards Partial driveway replacements and concrete apron pours. One small truck. One delivery. Job done right — first time.

From Quote to Delivery

How Small-Load Concrete Delivery Works

A successful concrete pour depends on the correct quantity, suitable site access and a prepared placement area. These four steps help move your project from the initial request to delivery.

Project Review

Tell Us What You Are Pouring

Provide the project type, address, estimated volume, preferred delivery date and any information about site access or placement conditions.

Order Confirmation

Confirm the Mix, Quantity and Schedule

The YAAT team reviews the order requirements and confirms delivery suitability, concrete specifications, scheduling and the information needed before dispatch.

Site Preparation

Prepare the Pour Area and Access Route

Complete the forms, reinforcement and base preparation. Ensure the delivery route is clear and that the placement crew, tools and equipment are ready before the truck arrives.

Concrete Delivery

Receive and Place the Ready-Mix Concrete

The mini concrete truck arrives during the confirmed delivery window. Your crew must be ready to receive, place, consolidate and finish the concrete safely and efficiently.

Mini Concrete Truck Capabilities

A Compact Truck for Small-Load Concrete Delivery

YAAT’s compact single-axle concrete trucks are designed for small-volume ready-mix orders and projects where a standard truck may be larger than the site or delivery conditions require.

Compact Single-Axle Delivery

Better Suited to Smaller Projects and Restricted Sites

A smaller truck can provide a more appropriate delivery option for residential work, renovation pours and sites with limited manoeuvring space.

Service Advantages

Why Use a Mini Concrete Truck?

The service combines professionally batched ready-mix concrete with a delivery vehicle designed for smaller-volume projects.

Compact Vehicle Format

Better suited to smaller roads, residential properties and job sites with less turning or staging space.

Small-Volume Ready-Mix Orders

Order an appropriate ready-mix quantity for smaller concrete projects without relying entirely on bag mixing.

Flexible Placement Planning

Delivery can be coordinated with chute placement, wheelbarrows, buggies or pumping when direct access to the pour area is not available.

Site-Specific Access Review

YAAT reviews delivery access and placement conditions before confirming whether the truck can safely enter or position at the site.

What We Need to Review Before Approving Truck Access

A mini truck is more compact than a standard concrete truck, but every driveway and job site must still be assessed for safe access, positioning and exit.

01

Entry Width and Turning Space

The access route must provide enough width and manoeuvring room for the truck to enter, turn, position and leave without contacting structures, vehicles or landscaping.

02

Surface Strength and Slope

Driveways, lanes and staging surfaces must be stable, appropriately graded and capable of supporting the loaded truck without damage or unsafe settlement.

03

Overhead and Placement Clearance

Trees, wires, rooflines, gates and other overhead obstacles must be identified. The placement route from the truck to the pour area must also be planned in advance.

Compact does not automatically mean the truck can enter every driveway.

Final access approval depends on site conditions. YAAT may request measurements or photographs before confirming the delivery plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Small Load Concrete — What You Need to Know

What is the minimum concrete order for small load delivery?

Our single axle truck can deliver as little as 1 cubic yard of ready-mix concrete. You order exactly what your project needs — no mandatory fill minimums.

Can you deliver concrete to a backyard with limited vehicle access?

Yes. Our compact single axle truck is 25 ft long and 9 ft 4 in wide — built specifically to navigate narrow driveways, side gates, and tight residential access points. If a garbage truck can reach it, we likely can too.

What's the difference between a "mini concrete truck" and your single axle truck?

The term "mini concrete truck" is commonly used to describe smaller ready-mix trucks designed for residential small load deliveries. Our single axle truck is exactly that — it holds up to 3.75 cubic yards and is our most maneuverable vehicle for tight residential sites.

How much does small load concrete delivery cost in BC?

Pricing depends on mix design (PSI), volume, delivery distance from our Delta facility, and day of delivery (Saturday rates apply). Contact us or use our online quote form for an exact price for your project and location.

Do you deliver on weekends?

Yes — Saturdays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We recommend booking ahead for weekend deliveries as slots fill quickly during construction season (April–October).

What areas do you deliver small concrete loads to?

We serve the entire Lower Mainland including Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Langley, Coquitlam, Delta, North Vancouver, and surrounding areas. Call to confirm availability in your specific location.
